The boys are a credit to the club, not just at the cup final, but the way they have conducted themselves so far this season. They have gelled so well, as a team and, don't forget, this is a U18 league and the majority of our squad is U16. We played two of the top three sides in the league in both the semi-fnal (beating Peninsula 4-1) and final. Coming from behind twice against a big, physical Saanich side, we were deserved winners in the end, having bossed possession for much of the game. The penalties were nail-biting, but the boys kept their cool, and our keeper made two great saves, winning 4-3.
