Our club

Club Philosophy

The Cowichan Valley Soccer Association is a volunteer based non-profit club. The Club relies on its members to volunteer some of their time to keep the club operational, keep costs low and to meet its commitments to its players.

The Cowichan Valley Soccer Association is an inclusive organization and welcomes full participation of all individuals in our programs and activities. We believe that everyone involved in sport has the right to participate in safe and inclusive environments free of abuse, harassment, and discrimination. The CVSA is proud to support LGBTQ2+ athletes. We work to ensure that all children in the Cowichan Valley who wish to are given the opportunity to play soccer where they feel they belong and are comfortable and safe.

We strive for an inclusive and safe environment where every member is supported while developing their skills and love of the game.

BC Soccer Charter Program

CVSA is working with BC Soccer to become a Charter Organization. BC Soccer’s free Charter Program designed to assist and support members (full and associate) and affiliated soccer clubs is transitioning to better align and support Canada Soccer's Club Licensing Program - see here for more details on the transition.
As a parent, player, coach, or any other role, we hope you encourage the organization you participate in to get involved in club licensing as we believe the more organizations involved, the better the soccer experience for the thousands players in British Columbia.
During the Spring 2021, BC Soccer will update the information on these pages as we collectively work through the transition. We thank the members and clubs for their support and commitment to help create better environments for soccer across BC.
